Emergency Response to Snowstorm, Hubei Hongyu Demonstrates Emergency Responsibility

On the night of January 19, 2026, Zengdu District, Suizhou City, was hit by a heavy snowstorm, with snow accumulation reaching over 10 cm, severely affecting urban traffic and residents’ travel. In response to the sudden snow disaster, Hubei Hongyu Special Automobile Co., Ltd. acted swiftly, activating its emergency plan at 3:00 a.m. and dispatching four self-developed multifunctional snowplow trucks to clear snow on eight major roads, including Zengdu Avenue, Lieshan Avenue, and Qingnian Road.
The multifunctional snowplow trucks are self-developed emergency equipment, equipped with front-mounted snow plows, snow brooms, and de-icing agent spraying systems, capable of simultaneously performing snow plowing, ice melting, and anti-skid operations. From 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., the four snowplows worked continuously for four hours, clearing more than 50 kilometers of snow-covered roads and basically restoring traffic on main urban roads before the morning rush hour.
The head of the company’s emergency rescue team said, “As a local special-purpose vehicle manufacturer in Suizhou, we not only research and produce emergency vehicles but also bear social responsibilities at critical moments. The company has established an emergency coordination mechanism with local government to ensure rapid response in extreme weather conditions.”
